On Wednesday, the Haas F1 Team confirmed Mick Schumacher, the son of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher, as their second driver for the 2021 season.
Schumacher was unsurprisingly ecstatic to achieve his lifelong dream and was already starting to think about preparing for the start of the 2021 season in March despite still having one round of the Formula Two Championship to go.

It’s no secret that Michael Schumacher is Sebastian Vettel’s racing hero, and the German four-time World Champion has offered to help his son be successful in F1.
Reacting to the news that Mick Schumacher has signed a multi-year contract with Haas, Vettel said:
“I am extremely happy for Mick. It is certainly not an easy step, but I am here if I can help him with any advice.
“Mick is a great guy. We are getting along extremely well so I am happy that he is here with us,” Vettel added.
Continuing, the outgoing Ferrari driver revealed that he knew of the deal “a bit earlier” than when the deal was publicly confirmed.
“I knew it a bit earlier so yesterday was no surprise to me,” Vettel said, without elaborating as to who exactly gave him the news in advance.
“Mick has undoubtedly earned his seat. He is leading the F2 Championship and I hope that he wins it this weekend.
“I will help him as Michael helped me when I asked for advice,” he added.
