Mercedes have locked out the front row of the grid for the Sakhir Grand Prix, with Valtteri Bottas pipping George Russell to pole position.
Max Verstappen put in a lap good enough for third on the grid, while his Red Bull team-mate, Alex Albon, could only manage P12.
The two Mercedes will start the Sakhir GP on a set of the medium-compound tyres, while all other drivers will get away on a set of softs.
Charles Leclerc had a very strong qualifying to put his Ferrari SF1000 fourth on the grid, ahead of Sergio Perez and Daniil Kvyat.
Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll will round out the top ten.
