This F1 racer will inherit staggering fortune that will dwarf Lewis Hamilton’s net worth

Lance Stroll's father, Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, is reportedly worth $3.2 billion.

Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll has been tipped as a future “world champion” by new team-mate Fernando Alonso, with the Canadian set to rake in a fortune whether he goes on to be successful in Formula 1 or not.

The 24-year-old has remarkably already been at the pinnacle of motorsport for six seasons, with the Aston Martin driver set to embark on his seventh season in F1 this year.

In that time, he’s claimed three podiums and one pole position, but a victory continues to elude him.

Despite this, he’s shown incredible pace and talent at times, most notably at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, where he claimed a sensational pole position at a drenched Istanbul.

With Aston Martin having set themselves such ambitious goals for the future, the likelihood is that Stroll will feature closer to the front in the coming years, with Alonso in particular believing that he’s “super talented”.

The double World Champion used Stroll’s pole position in Turkey as an example of how talented he believes he is, with the Spaniard excited to be alongside Stroll for the forthcoming seasons.

“In Lance, the team has a driver who is super young, super talented and has the possibility to be world champion,” Alonso said.

“To see him achieve that and have played a part in that, whether that’s behind the wheel or not, will be special for me.

“He has the speed, and he has the talent. He has shown it many times, especially in wet conditions. I remember Lance’s pole position in Turkey and some of his other excellent performances in the wet; to perform at that level in difficult conditions you have to have a special feeling with the car.”

Even if Stroll’s F1 career were to suddenly end, he’d still end up being richer than Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen combined, due to his father’s wealth.

Stroll’s father, Lawrence Stroll, is reportedly worth $3.2 billion, according to CelebrityNetWorth, something that the F1 driver will likely inherit one day.

Lawrence is, of course, the owner of the Aston Martin F1 Team and has put a remarkable amount of cash into the Silverstone-based side, to help them achieve their goal of becoming champions.

He is an incredibly successful businessman, who’s money has been used by the team to build a brand-new state-of-the-art factory, which will be without a doubt the greatest on the grid.
