Alpine F1 driver Fernando Alonso is set to undergo surgery before the beginning of the 2022 season following a bicycle crash in early 2021. Alonso was out cycling in Switzerland back in February when a heavy bike crash landed him in hospital, with police confirming a week later that he was hit by a car.
