Despite the clearing of charges, the accuser has not accepted the outcome and has challenged Red Bull’s decision, leading to a process that is still underway.

A recent BBC interview featured comments from a friend of the accuser, highlighting the case’s progression to an employment tribunal and expressing concerns over efforts to keep the proceedings private.
The friend detailed the accuser’s difficulties, including threats of legal action and a suspension from work, which they believe aims at her eventual dismissal.
In contrast, Red Bull’s statement contradicted these claims, clarifying that there were no efforts to privatize the tribunal and denying any intent to terminate the accuser’s employment.
The situation escalated when messages allegedly sent by Horner to the employee surfaced publicly, drawing attention from the media, Red Bull team members, and FIA officials.
Horner has stood firm in his denial of these newer allegations as well.
