The Red Bull season launch last week in New York did not live up to the expectations of many, with fans having to sit through an hour of conversation before they were able to get a look at the RB19.
As expected, there is very little difference between the livery of the RB18 and RB19, keeping the tradition of the Red Bull cars always looking very similar.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has admitted that the RB19 will look slightly different in Bahrain in a couple of weeks, explaining that the car shown off in New York was more of a livery launch than anything to do with the design of the car.
The RB19 has now been spotted on track for the very first time, with Red Bull tweeting that the car has been “spotted in the wild,” before showing very limited footage of the car flying past.

The footage comes from the team’s shakedown in Silverstone, where Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez looked to get a good amount of laps in behind the wheel of the RB19 before F1 travels to Bahrain for pre-season testing.
Red Bull will not be the only team to participate in a Silverstone shakedown, with Mercedes also set to give the W14 a run out in the coming weeks, after it is officially launched later this month.
With Red Bull hindered by their cost cap breach punishment this season and Mercedes and Ferrari looking to return to winning ways, Max Verstappen has admitted that it will be difficult for the RB19 to power him to a third successive championship victory.

“Well, my favourite number is of course number three,” he said at Red Bull’s season launch.
“Of course you always try to go for it but I don’t know if we are going to be good enough, of course we believe as a team we are, we are motivated and we have to come off the back of a very strong year, and we are working flat out to try and achieve that.”
Verstappen looked a class about the rest in 2022, but with other teams expected to be more competitive this year, fans could be treated to a three-way title race at least.
