Evans GP have reported that one of their Formula 3 cars has been stolen by, they believe, someone in the motorsport industry.
The team is just a year old and is run by Australian Josh Evans who has competed in Formula 3, Formula 4, Formula Renault and Formula Ford as a driver, winning in each of them.
This year they competed in the Formula Regional Asian Championship, previously known as the F3 Asian Championship, which came to an end in Abu Dhabi in February.
After that, their cars were apparently shipped to Europe, and they believe one has been stolen and is in Germany.

“Evans GP would like to alert the wider motorsport community that they have had one of their Tatuus T318 / Alfa Romeo vehicles stolen,” the team said on Instagram.
“We believe the current location to be in Germany.
“Please keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell a vehicle, engine and related parts.
“We believe the perpetrator to be involved in the motorsport industry.
“We will post updates here as they come to hand. For further details do not hesitate to contact the team directly.
“Please feel free to share this post to help spread the word amongst the industry.”

The team finished sixth in the Constructors’ Championship this year, scoring 118 points, claiming one win and one P2 finish.
It was a somewhat disappointing campaign given they won multiple races and finished P2 in the standings in their first season in 2021.
The 2023 campaign begins in January in Abu Dhabi, and Evans and co are aiming to win the title for the first time.
They will be hoping that their missing car can be located before then and are calling for anyone with information to contact them immediately.
