Nico Hulkenberg will commentate on Formula One grand prix this upcoming season, with him joining Austria’s Servus TV broadcaster as a co-commentator.
The former F1 driver will commentate alongside Austrian sports journalist Andreas Gröbl.

“I think Andi and I are a good duo. I have a good feeling about that,” Hulkenberg said.
Despite Hulkenberg taking on the media role, it’s still possible he will serve as a reserve driver in 2021 as well, though he is yet to be announced as any team’s reserve or test driver.
Last month, Otmar Szafnauer, team principal of the newly rebranded Aston Martin F1 Team, hinted that Hulkenberg has a good chance of being signed as their reserve driver.
“Could very well be. There is nothing to announce yet but watch this space,” Szafnauer said.
“We are close to Nico and we are in discussions with him. That would be great for us all,” the Aston Martin F1 Team boss added.
Christian Klien, the last Austrian to race in Formula One, will also be a feature of ServusTV’s 2021 F1 coverage.
It was recently announced that Servus TV and ORF, another Austrian broadcaster, will be sharing the coverage rights this upcoming season, with them alternating after each grand prix.
