A formal complaint has been lodged against Christian Horner, Red Bull’s Chief Executive and Team Principal, by a woman currently suspended by the team, as reported by the BBC.
The complaint, centered on Horner’s conduct, was directed to the ethics committee of Formula 1’s governing body, the FIA.
Despite previous investigations by an independent lawyer that cleared Horner of any misconduct, the case has prompted a statement from the FIA emphasizing their process’s confidentiality and autonomy, highlighting their inability to comment on specific complaints.
This controversy comes amidst a strong performance from Red Bull in the 2024 Formula 1 season, with Max Verstappen winning the first two grands prix and Sergio Perez securing second place in both.
