It would seem that two-time world champion Fernando Alonso is getting a kick out of the Taylor Swift love story. But is the driver antagonising the press for enjoyment or is there truth to the rumours?
Last week, Alonso ignited the flame as he took to social media, posting a video in which he scrolls through his phone listening to Swift’s song “Karma”.
A cheeky wink featured, confirming Alonso was amused by such speculation.
Did a smitten Alonso stop there? No. The Spaniard was up to the same tricks once again, taking to TikTok to reference the pop star, sending F1 and pops fans alike into a craze.

This video featured Swift’s song “22” which rather fittingly complemented Alonso’s workout video. As the camera pans around, we are struck with that cheeky wink.
Only time will tell, but if the rumours are true, a new romance may just be the cherry on top for Fernando Alonso this season.

The season has been off to a flying start. His controversial move from Alpine now appears totally justified. Alonso has been able to secure three podium finishes in four races.
