Charles Leclerc is paying tribute to Sebastian Vettel at his last race with Ferrari by sporting a special helmet design at this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The design, which you can see down below, has “Danke Seb” written on it and features a few pictures of the Ferrari team-mates together.

Leclerc and Vettel have been team-mates at Ferrari since 2019, when the Monegasque was signed by the Scuderia after spending a single season in Formula One with Alfa Romeo.
For his part, Sebastian Vettel joined the Maranello-based team in 2015 after leaving Red Bull – the team he won his four World Champions with.
The German was unable to win a title with Ferrari, but he enjoyed spells of success, taking 14 grand prix wins over the course of his six seasons with the Italian constructor.
Relations with the team went south this year after it transpired that they wouldn’t be retaining him beyond the end of the 2020 season.
His relationship with Leclerc has also taken a few hits due to on-track drama, at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix and the 2020 Styrian Grand Prix, for instance.
Vettel will still be on the F1 grid next year with the newly rebranded Aston Martin Racing team, partnering Lance Stroll.
