Lando Norris’ father has shared a selfie he took with the father of Sir Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen on the F1 grid.
Adam Norris, Lando’s father, isn’t in the spotlight as much as the parents of some other F1 drivers, such as Jos Verstappen.
He doesn’t come from a racing background, amassing a £205 million fortune through business ventures instead, and hasn’t often been seen attending races to cheer on his son.
However, he clearly does do so from time to time with him posting a selfie of himself at a round with Jos Verstappen and Anthony Hamilton.

“The boys,” Norris posted on LinkedIn.
“We have more in common than you would think.”
Verstappen and Hamilton are, of course, the fathers of Formula 1 World Champions, and many expect the same to be said about Norris too sooner rather than later.
That’s because his son continues to impress enormously at McLaren, with the Brit claiming one podium and scoring 76 points, 57 more than team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, in the first half of the 2022 campaign.
He has dominated Ricciardo so much in fact that the British team are now reportedly trying to get rid of the Aussie and replace him with compatriot Oscar Piastri in the hope that the 2021 F2 champion can be more of a match.

Whether Piastri will indeed be Norris’s team-mate next season is still very much uncertain though with Alpine, who have developed him in their academy, claiming he is contractually obliged to drive for them.
The matter looks set to go to court, and with reports stating that his contracts with both teams have been found to be legal, a quick and clear resolution is unlikely to be found.
Norris himself has opted to stay out of the matter, not commenting on it over the summer break, but the same can’t be said for McLaren IndyCar driver Pato O’Ward.
The Mexican hit out at the team and Zak Brown for their pursuit of Piastri, criticising the American for promising him and others that they could one day drive for the team in F1 and then trying to sign Piastri instead.
