Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen tried his best to joke around after last Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix, which he unsurprisingly claimed victory at.
Despite having started sixth on the grid, Verstappen worked his way into the lead easily by Lap 17, before going on to win by just over 17 seconds.
The victory marked his 10th of 2023 and his eighth in a row, whilst he increased his tally in the new aerodynamics era to 25 in the last 34 races.
Overall, the 25-year-old now has 45 career victories to his name, with him rapidly approaching his half-century.

Not even a five-place grid penalty can stop the Dutchman, who had actually qualified on pole a Spa-Francorchamps.
Verstappen technically claimed pole position for the main race and the sprint race in Belgium, whilst he also won both events.
The only accolade the two-time World Champion failed to achieve was fastest lap, which went to Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen is entering the summer break in a remarkable position, with him technically being able to miss the next five races and still lead the Drivers’ Championship.
He unbelievably leads the standings by 125 points over team-mate Sergio Perez, with it being just a matter of time until he claims his third consecutive title.
The wind last weekend was arguably his biggest competitor at Spa, with him set to work on his wrists during the summer break.
A Brazilian journalist actually asked the Dutch driver what his plans were for the four-week break, to which he called the journalist a “dirty man” after saying he’d be doing a “lot of wrist training”.
“A lot of cardio and a lot of wrist training,” Verstappen said, as reported by GPFans.com.
“Not what you think it is, you’re a dirty man.”

Verstappen actually complained about the wind during the race, to the extent where he was gripping the steering wheel very tightly.
“It’s so windy I have to hold the wheel really tight,” Verstappen said over the radio during the race.
The Red Bull star has actually now won the last three races held in Belgium, with it becoming another venue that he’s superior at.
