Lewis Hamilton fans loved a recent video showing the seven-time World Champion feeding his beloved dog Roscoe some watermelon, in what was described as “precious content”.
Hamilton is seemingly enjoying the summer break after a tough first half of the 2023 season, with @xxoMarina having shared the video of the driver sharing a fruity snack with Roscoe.
Fans were quick to comment on the video, with one of Hamilton’s followers having loved the 38-year-old’s “proud father smile”.
“The proud father smile at the end,” commented @assemblebts.

Another fan, @Crazy4Skinner53, jokingly said: “Meanwhile my dog would be mad AF if I tried to convince her fruit was a treat.”
Hamilton has been enjoying a considerably better season than he had in 2022, with the Stevenage-born driver currently being the superior Mercedes star.
Unlike last year, Hamilton has comfortably had the edge over team-mate George Russell, who has lacked confidence.
Following the 12 completed races this campaign, Hamilton has secured four podium finishes, whereas Russell has finished on the rostrum just once.
Russell finished third at the Spanish Grand Prix; however, he still finished behind Hamilton who claimed second.
Hamilton sits 49 points ahead of Russell in the Drivers’ Championship and occupies fourth.
The 103-time race winner is in the fight for third though, as he finds himself just a point behind former McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso.
The Mercedes star recently finished fourth at the Belgian Grand Prix despite having started third, after being overtaken by eventual race winner Max Verstappen.
Hamilton has consistently finished amongst the top five this season; however, in recent races he’s found himself behind either a McLaren or a Ferrari, and occasionally both.

Whilst he wants third in the Drivers’ Championship, Hamilton isn’t too bothered with where he ends up this season, with his focus being on taking the fight to Red Bull in 2024.
He’s keen for the team to switch their focus to next season to ensure that they enter the next campaign as strong as possible, with a title not being on the cards this year.
Of course, to fight for the title with Mercedes next season will require the driver to sign a new deal, something he’s expected to do soon.
