Romain Grosjean picked up his first points of the season at the Eifel GP, but towards the start of the race, the Frenchman injured his left index finger.
Driving closely behind the Alfa Romeo of Kimi Raikkonen, which kicked up some gravel just before the long back straight, Grosjean’s finger was hit by a piece of flying gravel.
The Frenchman then got on the radio to his race engineer.
“I got hit badly by some gravel from Kimi. It’s F******* hurting my finger. I hope it’s not broken,” Romain Grosjean said.
