Sebastian Vettel has just three races to go with Scuderia Ferrari before he departs the team and joins Aston Martin Racing.
Vettel committed to Aston Martin on a multi-year deal earlier this year, but the four-time World Champion has said he “wouldn’t say no” to Mercedes if he was offered a drive with them at some point in the future.

“If I had the chance to drive a Mercedes myself, I wouldn’t say no,” Vettel said in a recent interview with Italy’s Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
“At the moment, no driver would say no to Mercedes and I would certainly be ready to take on Lewis. You’d have to ask him as well, but I think he would also like to be on a team with me. There is a lot of respect between us,” he added.
Vettel was also asked for his thoughts on Max Verstappen’s recent claim that 90 percent of the current F1 field would win in a Mercedes.
“I think it’s difficult to say whether that’s correct,” the German replied.
“For sure the Mercedes car is great, the team is incredibly strong and Lewis is reaping the benefits. Some other drivers would certainly succeed in Hamilton’s position.
“But you have to say that Lewis does it every race weekend and that is precisely his strength.”
