Hamilton was running in second place when he made a costly mistake around the halfway mark of the grand prix, but he recovered to P2 after benefitting from the race being red-flagged.

Lando Norris finished third to score his second-ever podium in Formula 1, ahead of the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in P4 and P5, respectively.

Daniel Ricciardo scored good points after finishing in sixth position, though he’ll no doubt be disappointed to have been outpaced by his team-mate.
