Ted Kravitz reveals details about Lewis Hamilton movie

Filming for the upcoming F1-based movie will be taking place throughout next month's British Grand Prix.

Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz has discovered some additional details on the upcoming Formula 1-based movie, starring Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.

It’s already been confirmed that Pitt will be driving a modified Formula 2 car during the British Grand Prix, with filming taking place at the Silverstone International Circuit.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton is also involved in the upcoming movie, which is currently unnamed.

Whilst the title hasn’t been revealed, some of the actors and actresses involved have been, thanks to IMDB.

Kravitz read out a list of people reportedly set to feature in the film, and who he believes has been signed to play Mercedes boss Toto Wolff.

“According to the industry bible IMDB, we have some more people in it. It’s Tobias Menzies, who I wonder (whether he) is playing Toto Wolff,” Kravitz said.

“Kim Bodnia, who was Konstantin in Killing Eve is in the film as well.

“Eve Hewson, the brilliant Irish actress might be the second Irish actress to be in the movie because she said on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that Brad Pitt has promised that she’s going to be in the movie as well.”

As well as the upcoming movie, there is also an F1-based series in the works.

An F1 series about a family-owned team is being produced by British actress and producer Felicity Jones, with it having been titled ‘One’.

Kravitz revealed some of the details and what the television series is going to be about, before questioning if it’s “like Williams”, who were founded by the late Sir Frank Williams.

“While we’re on film and movie news, I have news of a new series on F1 produced by Felicity Jones who is the British actress and producer. You may know her. She’s executive producing and starring in it,” Kravitz revealed.

“It’s titled One. It’s following ‘the tumultuous ascension of a fictitious family-owned Formula One team as it contends with fierce personalities, ever changing rivals and multi-million-dollar stakes.’

“It’s a new scripted television series, starring and produced by Felicity Jones, according to IMBD. It sounds a bit like Tyrell. Maybe it’s like Williams or Jordan as well.”
