The Stress Engineer will ensure reliable structural analysis of car components. They will directly be involved in car part design and bench testing and creating clear Stress Report of the analysis.

CAR PARTS DEVELOPMENT
Perform stress analyses (FE, Hand-calculations) for the development and final design release of car components providing clear documentation of the analysis performed (Stress Report).
Support the Team Leader in damage and defect investigations.
Has a proactive approach to work with respect to the current calculation methods used for the sizing of car components.
Create Test Procedures and follow up the test execution alongside the R&D testing department.
Execute the weekly and daily tasks, providing feedback related to the milestone of their work status.

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects respecting timeframes
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Understanding of carbon and metal structures
- Strong knowledge of theory behind FEA
- Excellent usage and knowledge of FE pre/processing (Altair Hypermesh/Optistruct, Abaqus)
- Basic knowledge of CAD system (NX is a plus)
- Knowledge of current manufacturing processes and material science
- Ability to work with the team, external suppliers and colleagues
- Previous engineering experience in F1 is a plus
- Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering master’s degree
- Initiative, proactive and Innovation
- Fluency in English
- Travel 0-10%
