Nico Rosberg is raising money for Ukrainian victims of Russia’s invasion by putting up for auction a Tesla Model Y Performance.
The all-new model from Tesla, which is all-electric, and can reach 100kph in just 3.7 seconds, will be available to drive along with a charging card for one year to the lucky winner of the prize draw.
“I’m going to send this to your home, you’re going to be able to drive it for 12 months if you are the winner of my raffle here,” Rosberg explained.

“And at the same time, you’ll be doing good here, all of you who are taking part in this raffle, because all the money is going to go to the emergency aid for Ukraine.
“So please, everybody join in, you have the chance to drive this car for 12 months, we’re going to send it to your home and you can drive this.”
This is not the only prize up for grabs though; there is something in the raffle for everyone.
The German is also auctioning off his authentic, used racing helmet from his Williams days when he drove for the team between 2006 and 2009, as well as personally signed mini helmets.
He is putting up signed pictures from some of his most iconic F1 moments, including the celebrations after his 2016 championship success in Abu Dhabi.
Further, the winners of the raffle can get their hands on some merchandise from the 36-year-old’s very own RXR Extreme-E team, as well as tickets to his Greentech festival in Berlin.
The proceeds from the draw will be going to two charities: Tribute to Bambi Stiftung, and Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
They are both working to give as much aid as they can to refugees who have had to flee Ukraine due to the horrible aggression from Russia.
As such, the 2016 champion encourages as many people to donate so that the charities can reach out to as many people as they can.
“Both foundations are heavily engaged in supporting refugees in Germany, Poland, especially children, with families to provide them with medicine, hygiene products and even creating environments for them where they can feel comfortable,” added Rosberg.
“That’s very important, dear to me so I’m really, really happy we are able to support and we are not only supporting outside of Ukraine, but we will also be supporting locally in Ukraine, supporting the people there.
“So it’s really a broad support, which I think will be extremely welcome. So please, everyone, join in to this.

“Tell your friends, family, then you can win 50 tickets for free. And with one ticket, that’s enough to win the main prize of the Tesla and/or the meet and greet with me, so I wish you good luck.”
