Red Bull Racing has taken the significant step of suspending the employee responsible for initiating an internal inquiry into team boss Christian Horner’s conduct.
This move comes in the aftermath of a comprehensive investigation spearheaded by Red Bull GmbH, the Formula 1 team’s parent entity.
Despite the rigorous investigation that unfolded over several weeks, the company eventually chose to conclude the inquiry without taking further action against Horner.
Throughout this period, including the unveiling of the 2024 car and the season’s inaugural race in Bahrain—a contest that saw Red Bull secure a commanding 1-2 victory—Horner’s leadership remained uninterrupted.

His position seems increasingly secure as time progresses, especially after the recent suspension of the individual who had raised concerns about his behavior.
The employee at the center of this situation was reportedly active at the Red Bull Racing campus in Milton Keynes as recently as Monday before being placed on suspension.
Contrary to some reports, there has been no confirmation of the individual’s employment termination.
In response to inquiries, a Red Bull spokesperson maintained the organization’s stance of not commenting on matters involving its employees.
This policy of silence extended even amidst the furor caused by an email leak last week, purportedly revealing sensitive information to key figures within the F1 community.
Although the authenticity of the email’s contents remains unverified, Horner has publicly denied the allegations and emphasized his cooperation with the independent investigation, which ultimately dismissed the complaint against him.
Addressing the media after the Bahrain Grand Prix, Horner expressed his eagerness to shift focus back to racing, acknowledging the challenges posed by the unwanted scrutiny.

He underscored the collective effort of his team, which culminated in a triumphant start to the season.
Horner also highlighted the support he received from within Red Bull and the broader racing community, including his wife Geri and Red Bull’s majority shareholder Chalerm Yoovidhya, both of whom were present in Bahrain to show their solidarity.
Horner’s remarks reflected a desire to move forward, emphasizing the importance of racing and the collective achievement of his team.
