The reigning Constructors’ Champions certainly appeared to enjoy their Christmas, following a tweet that poked fun at Mercedes, Ferrari, and themselves.
2022 was a remarkable season for the Austrians, who claimed their first Constructors’ Championship since 2013 with relative ease, thanks to 15 victories from double World Champion Max Verstappen and two from Sergio Pérez.
All their success from the past year certainly seems to have put the Milton Keynes-based outfit in the festive spirit, with a clever image of a living room decorated extremely festively.
In the image that was posted onto Twitter, Santa Claus can be seen bringing a turkey into the room in question, with a speech bubble over his head, which read: “The turkey might’ve taken us over budget…”

This is, of course, in reference to Red Bull’s very own embarrassing blunder, which was revealed the day after the Japanese Grand Prix.
Red Bull were deemed to have breached the 2021 budget cap by $2.2 million, something which resulted in a punishment of a $7 million fine and a 10-percent reduction in permitted aerodynamic research.
The side argued that they exceeded the cap as a result of spending too much money on catering, hence the turkey quip, and why chief technical officer Adrian Newey is holding a sandwich in the background.
In the image, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner and advisor Dr Helmut Marko are seen next to Newey, with the duo holding gifts galore.
Sitting in front of the three men are what appears to be a young Verstappen and Checo, who are sitting on the floor next to a box labelled ‘unwanted toys’.
This is where the Austrians poked fun at their rivals, as inside the box is Mercedes’ W13, a broken Ferrari, and the Italians strategy book.
Ferrari were ridiculed throughout the season for their endless strategic errors, many of which handed Red Bull yet another victory.

Red Bull’s RB18 was an exceptional car, one which suffered from “zero porpoising” as written on a box of the RB18, something which was a clear dig at the Silver Arrows who suffered from porpoising for the vast majority of the season.
The team also celebrated the return of Daniel Ricciardo in their festive image, as the Australian was seen on top of the Christmas tree.
Whilst mimicking a star that commonly sits on top of the tree, the 33-year-old could be seen wearing a t-shirt which read: “Smile like you’re Danny Ric.”
