Russian racing driver Nikita Mazepin has been slapped with a fine for driving through a red light in the UK.
Specifically, Mazepin was fined £274 by an Oxfordshire court for driving through a traffic light in the town of Bracknell 1.7 seconds after it turned red.

The 21-year-old has also had three penalty points added onto his driver’s licence for the incident which occurred in mid-2020.
Mazepin is set to make his F1 debut with Haas next month, with the American racing outfit deciding not to axe him after he groped a model and uploaded a video of the incident onto Instagram in December.
He will partner Mick Schumacher, who won the 2020 Formula Two Championship, at the Haas F1 Team.
