With the Formula 1 community heading to Belgium this weekend for the last race before the summer break, Max Verstappen is optimistic about continuing his impressive run of form.
“Spa is, of course, my favorite track on the calendar, so I’m looking forward to racing there and seeing the fans,” Verstappen said ahead of the race weekend.
With the picturesque backdrop around the circuit, Verstappen is anticipating a large contingent of supporters to back him from the grand stands, as he seeks to leave with a full set of points.
Verstappen will have the opportunity to walk away from Belgium with more points than usual, as the sprint format returns this weekend.

With rain expected during the whole race weekend, the action could be set to be even more exciting than usual.
“I’m looking forward to that,” Verstappen said.
“It looks like it’s going to be quite a rainy weekend, so we’ll see what impact that’ll have as it always makes it a bit more interesting and chaotic.”
As Verstappen returns to one of his preferred circuits, the Dutchman will be eager to score victory again despite a resurgent McLaren and the threat of a hungry teammate in Sergio Perez.
