Lewis Hamilton spotted at star-studded fashion event just days before testing

Lewis Hamilton has become famous for his bold fashion sense in recent seasons.

Being a seven-time world champion puts Lewis Hamilton in the spotlight much more than most athletes and while many would shy away from the fame, Hamilton embraces it.

The 38-year-old can often be spotted in the paddock sporting the latest fashion, with some of his outfits being something that only he could pull off.

The Brit has been involved in fashion for some time, with his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger being a key part of Hamilton’s endorsements ever since they got involved with Mercedes in 2018.

Luxury Italian clothing brand Moncler have now launched their latest ‘Genius’ project, with a livestream of the launch event bring broadcast on Twitter earlier this week.

Eagle-eyed fans have identified a number of high-profile celebrities at the event, with Lewis Hamilton being one of the many sportspeople in attendance.

On the red carpet, Hamilton opted to wear black puffer jacket, which was similar in style to Moncler’s Fall 2023 Ready-To-War collection.

US artists Pharrell Williams and Alicia Keys were seen on the livestream, with Williams reportedly being drafted into the late Virgil Abloh, who created the hit designer brand Off-White.

The Genius project will see Moncler collaborate with these big name designers, celebrities and brands as part of London Fashion Week, as the brand look to capitalise on their influence and connections.

Having attended the event earlier this week, Hamilton will quickly be jetting off to Bahrain for pre-season testing, as the Brit gears up to challenge for a record breaking eighth world title in Formula 1.
