Lewis Hamilton’s Net Worth & Salary

Hamilton is currently the highest-paid driver on the F1 grid, with him reportedly earning £22 million (circa $30 million) for racing with Mercedes this year.

This salary was agreed in the one-year contract the Brit inked just weeks before the 2021 season started, and he is reportedly earning roughly the same amount in the two-year deal he signed for 2022 and 2023.

It should be noted that he also earns upwards of $15 million each year from various personal sponsorships and brand deals. This gives him a total annual salary of at least $45 million.

Hamilton’s net worth currently stands at around $300 million. Assuming he continues to earn $45 million and not taking into account his tax liabilities, it will (theoretically) take the seven-time F1 champion another 16 years to become a billionaire.

His net worth has been amassed solely from his Formula 1 racing career, with him being on the grid in the pinnacle of motorsport for well over a decade.
