Kelly Piquet shares wholesome pictures with Max Verstappen in the Middle East

Max Verstappen is in a relationship with former F1 champion Nelson Piquet’s daughter, Kelly.

On track, the weekend of the Bahrain Grand Prix went perfectly for Max Verstappen, with the Dutchman securing pole position in qualifying and then going on to win the race.

Red Bull look to be head and shoulders above their rivals once again this year, giving Verstappen a golden opportunity to win his third world championship title in a row this season.

Whilst the 25-year-old would have been very busy with media, meetings and racing while in Bahrain, Verstappen did manage to spend some time with his family last week.

Verstappen is currently dating Kelly Piquet, the daughter of former F1 champion Nelson Piquet who was recently disgraced following a string of racist and homophobic comments about Lewis Hamilton.

The pair were in Bahrain with Piquet’s daughter Penny, who is a product of the 34-year-old’s last relationship with former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat.

Kelly Piquet, who is a very successful Brazilian model, shared a post to her Instagram account which boasts an impressive 1.1 million followers a wholesome photograph of herself, Max Verstappen and her daughter all kitted out in race suits ahead of a go-karting experience.

She captioned the post to share the story of the trio’s time together in Bahrain, with Verstappen treating his family to a number of fun activities.

“From the most special dinner in the desert, to a fun boat day, to P finally learning how to swim on her own, P’s first time in a go-kart, water parks, movies, arcades and to ending the trip with a fantastic start to the race year,” posted Piquet.

The family’s time in the Middle East is not over quite yet, as Formula 1 travels to Saudi Arabia next week for the third ever Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.

Should Verstappen be able to win the second race of the season, then he could already have one hand on the title despite having 21 races to go.

Red Bull look lightyears ahead of their rivals so far this season as despite all of Sergio Perez’s qualities, he still seems unable to match the feats of his phenomenally talented teammate.
