There appears to be something in the air currently between Formula 1 drivers and iconic pop stars, with seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton having been spotted with pop royalty Shakira, not long after former team-mate Fernando Alonso was linked to Taylor Swift.
Whilst there is seemingly no truth behind the Alonso and Swift rumours, Hamilton was seen with Shakira on Wednesday, following the Miami Grand Prix.
Shakira had been in attendance at the Miami International Autodrome with Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who is believed to be friends with the Mercedes star.
Since the Grand Prix, Hamilton has been seen with Shakira and several friends on a boat in Miami, clearly enjoying the stunning weather.

The pop star is recently single after splitting from former Barcelona football player Gerard Pique, whom she shares two children with.
Her children weren’t seen at the Grand Prix, where Hamilton battled through the field from 13th, after being eliminated in Q2 for the first time on American soil.
The 38-year-old did well to recover to sixth on Sunday, keeping him fourth in the Drivers’ Championship and 16 points ahead of team-mate George Russell, who finished fourth.
Hamilton can now look forward to Mercedes’ new concept at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which kickstarts the first triple-header of 2023.
The 103-time race winner was pleased to have finished sixth given where he started the race, with Hamilton having shared how the car “came a bit alive” mid-race, where he made significant progress through the field.

“The car came a bit alive midway through the race, and I think to get from 13th to sixth – I’m pretty happy with that,” Hamilton told Sky Sports F1 after the race.
“Unfortunately, we started so far behind, but I enjoyed the race. I had a lot of fun just making my way through. It’s nice to be able to have a battle with people and good points for the team.
“So a big thank you to the team again this weekend for just keeping their head down and continuing to push even though we aren’t where we want to be. There’s still great morale within the team.”
