Kimi Raikkonen was having a productive final day of pre-season testing at Bahrain, with him completing the most laps of anyone and managing a lap time good enough for P4.

However, the final lap of testing saw things take a dramatic turn, with him making contact with the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz.
Sainz dived up the inside of Raikkonen into turn 10, making contact with the Alfa Romeo despite the veteran F1 driver opening his steering wheel to avoid the Spaniard.
Raikkonen then overtook the Ferrari and Sainz continued to drive aggressively and very closely behind him as testing came to an end.

Reacting to the incident, ex-F1 driver and co-commentator Martin Brundle said: “Young Sainz doesn’t look very happy, I suspect.
“I thought he was going to tip him off in the last few corners, I thought he was going to have him off.”
Karun Chandok, another former F1 driver, replied: “I mean the body language was, as he was chasing him down the straight, ‘I’m gonna have you off.’”
It’s unclear if Raikkonen had done something earlier in the lap or the session which angered Sainz and prompted him to dive up the inside of him.
