The newspaper cited sources as saying that Haas will announce its two new drivers at this weekend’s Portuguese Grand Prix.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Haas had decided to sign Russian driver Nikita Mazepin and will announce the move once he is issued a Super Licence.
It seems likely that Mazepin will provide some level of financial contribution to the team, but this hasn’t been confirmed by sources.
The second seat is earmarked for a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, with Callum Ilott seen as favourite.
However, F2 Championship leader Mick Schumacher is reportedly also in contention for a seat at Haas despite previous reports suggesting he is poised to join Alfa Romeo.
