F1 driver posts nude picture

Valtteri Bottas finished 10th in Montreal, marking his first points finish since the season-opener.

Valtteri Bottas has stunned his fans once again, with the Finn having posted yet another nude shot to social media.

Since first being seen nude in Netflix docuseries ‘Drive to Survive’, Bottas has been no stranger to posting a very natural sort of photo.

He was at it again recently to celebrate a Finnish holiday, with an image of Bottas walking into a lake naked having been posted onto his Instagram.

Comically, the photo was taken by girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell, who’s probably become more than used to photographing the Alfa Romeo driver nude.

Bottas captioned the nude shot: “Happy midsummer.”

Bottas has certainly been able to show his true personality to the world since having left Mercedes, where the pressure of being alongside seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton clearly got to him.

Whilst his results at Alfa Romeo haven’t been particularly special, Bottas has been visibly happier, something the F1 community has loved to see.

It’s believed that he’s contracted to the Hinwil-based team until the end of 2024; however, he’ll be keen for better results should he want to convince Sauber and Audi to retain him for the new power unit regulations.

Bottas did show good pace recently at the Canadian Grand Prix, where he claimed his first point since the season-opener in Bahrain.

“I am pleased with our race today,” Bottas said after the Canadian GP, as reported by the official F1 website.

“I made up four positions during the race, and it’s always a good day when that happens, especially when you get a top ten finish, which had been our main goal all weekend long.

“It could have been P9, but my tyres began to wear out towards the end of the race, and Lance got me on the finish line. Still, I think it is safe to say we executed a solid race today, and a good strategy as well.”

Having endured a difficult start to the season, Bottas is pleased with the progress being made by Alfa Romeo over recent rounds, with him recognising how “important” it is to keep making “some steps forward”.

“Since Monaco, we have been making decent progress, and it’s proof of all the hard work put in by the team back home in Hinwil,” said Bottas.

“Even though we are bringing home only one point, it’s a reward and a motivation boost to keep hunting for more.

“Now, it will be important to keep working in this direction and focus on improving our Saturday performance. There are still some steps forward to make, and I am confident we can achieve this all together.”
