Ex-Ferrari Team Principal Domenicali To Become F1 CEO

Domenicali left Ferrari in 2014 and currently serves as the CEO of Lamborghini.

Former Scuderia Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali will replace Chase Carey as the CEO of Formula One, the BBC reported on Tuesday, citing sources in the paddock.

Carey will serve as chairman of Formula One “in a form still to be decided”, the publication added.

Domenicali was in charge of Ferrari when the Maranello-based team last won an F1 title – the Constructors’ Championship in 2008.

He resigned from the team towards the start of the 2014 season and was quickly replaced by Marco Mattiacci.
