EA Sports have released their official driver ratings for the F1 2026 game, and the results have left many fans stunned by one surprising placement in particular.
Kimi Antonelli, the current championship leader, was ranked as the sixth worst driver on the entire F1 grid in the new game.
Antonelli received a score of just 83, placing him below both Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon in the official EA Sports standings.
Both Bottas and Ocon have been linked with losing their race seats, making Antonelli’s position behind them all the more striking to fans.
EA have held the official rights to the Formula 1 game since 2021, when they acquired Codemasters, who have produced the game since the 2009 edition.
Max Verstappen was rated the best driver in the game with a score of 95, topping the list ahead of reigning F1 champion Lando Norris, who received a score of 94.
George Russell followed in third place with a score of 93, while Charles Leclerc was rated fourth with a score of 92.
Oscar Piastri and Lewis Hamilton both received joint ratings of 91, placing them fifth and sixth on the overall list respectively.
Fernando Alonso was the next highest rated driver with a score of 90, followed by Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez, Alexander Albon, and Nico Hulkenberg, all clustered in the mid-80s range.
While Antonelli’s score of 83 placed him above Gabriel Bortoleto, Liam Lawson, Lance Stroll, Franco Colapinto, and Arvid Lindblad, rookie Arvid Lindblad received the lowest rating of all with a score of just 68.
