The Formula One community has eagerly been calling on Mercedes to run George Russell alongside Lewis Hamilton next year despite Valtteri Bottas recently signing a contract extension for 2021 with the team.
And on Tuesday, F1 fans noticed that Bottas had removed any mention of the Mercedes F1 Team from his Instagram bio.

This prompted speculation that the Finn might actually be on course to leave the Silver Arrows to make way for George Russell.
Mercedes have been quick to react to this speculation and poke fun at the F1 community by changing their own Instagram bio.
“It’s just an Instagram bio. Don’t overthink it,” their new bio reads.
For the time being, it seems Bottas and Hamilton will still be at Mercedes next year, but Russell will potentially have another chance to prove himself in Hamilton’s W11 if the seven-time World Champion is unable to compete in the season finale at Abu Dhabi.
