Daniel Ricciardo is parting ways with his McLaren 720S Spider, eager to move on from his disappointing end to his time with the Formula 1 team.
The Australian driver’s car is now available for purchase through McLaren New Forest in the UK, with an asking price of £217,450 (around $272,000).
While it is known that Ricciardo drove the car throughout the 2022 season, it is unclear whether he personally bought it or received it as a gift from McLaren. Regardless, the car is now in search of a new owner.
One of the most striking features of the mid-engined supercar is its vibrant Lantana Purple exterior. This eye-catching colour is perfectly complemented by a set of 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels sporting an elegant gunmetal grey design, along with bright yellow brake calipers.

The McLaren 720S Spider comes equipped with a variety of option packages, enhancing its performance and luxury. These include the Performance Plus Pack, Convenience Pack, Exterior Carbon Fiber Upgrade Pack 1, Interior Carbon Fiber Pack 3, electric and heated memory seats, and 360 parking assist.
Additionally, the car still has 12 months of manufacturer warranty remaining and has been driven a mere 6,749 miles (10,861 km).

Although the McLaren 720S has been succeeded by the 750S, it continues to be regarded as one of the fastest and most well-rounded supercars of the past decade.
Its power is derived from a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering an impressive claimed output of 710 hp and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. However, independent dyno tests have consistently shown that the car surpasses its official specifications. It offers an exhilarating driving experience, particularly when enjoying the open-top freedom with the wind rushing through your hair.
