Confirmed: Lewis Hamilton and Shakira are dating after Tom Cruise friendzoned

Shakira was in attendance at the Miami Grand Prix and most recently the Spanish Grand Prix.

Following much speculation, it has been revealed by People’s Magazine that Lewis Hamilton and pop icon Shakira are in a “fun and flirty” relationship, with the duo having been spotted together multiple times.

Hamilton and Shakira were first seen together following the Miami Grand Prix, where Hamilton was captured by paparazzi helping the Colombian onto a boat full of the 38-year-old’s friends.

Most recently, Shakira was seen in the paddock at the Spanish Grand Prix, where the Mercedes driver matched his best result of 2023.

Hamilton matched his P2 from the Australian Grand Prix to claim his second rostrum of the season, following a great drive at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Briton has looked excellent since Mercedes introduced the new concept; however, perhaps his newfound belief has something to do with the developments in his personal life.

Shakira and Hamilton were seen at dinner in Barcelona following the seventh race of the season, with Hamilton having reportedly jetted back to Miami ahead of this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix.

Hamilton has returned to where Shakira lives, where he was seen picking her up from her $20 million mansion, in a $230,000 speedboat.

“They’re spending time together and in the ‘getting to know you’ stage,” according to a source from the People’s Magazine who knows both Hamilton and Shakira. “It’s fun and flirty.”

Whilst the news of their relationship has been broken by the publication, neither Hamilton’s nor Shakira’s representatives have confirmed the rumours.

Regardless, Hamilton’s attention will be switching to the upcoming Canadian GP, where he’ll be targeting a record-breaking eighth victory at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Hamilton and fellow seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher have both claimed seven wins in Canada, meaning an eighth would make him the most successful driver at the circuit in F1’s history.

Whether Shakira will be at the Canadian GP remains to be seen, given that it’s only a few hours away by plane from where she resides in Miami.

Supposedly, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise was also linked to Shakira, following her public break-up from former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique.

Reportedly though, Shakira was keen to remain friends with the actor rather than pursue anything romantic with him.
