Charles Leclerc reveals Hasbulla air freshener

2023 will be Charles Leclerc's fifth season with Ferrari, having joined the side from Alfa Romeo in 2019.

Charles Leclerc has been hailed for having “taste”, with the Ferrari driver having been spotted driving with a Hasbulla air freshener, certainly not something that you’d be able to easily predict!

Hasbulla is a tiktoker and blogger from Russia who is nicknamed ‘Mini Khabib’, after former UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The 20-year-old shot to fame during the pandemic for his viral videos, with Hasbulla having become the star of hundreds of memes.

The Russian star from Dagestan, has reached a level of stardom that sees him recognised wherever he travels across the globe, similar to Leclerc.

Leclerc is, of course, preparing for the imminent 2023 season, with the Monegasque being eager to take the fight to Max Verstappen this year.

The 25-year-old started the 2022 season emphatically after winning two of the first three races, something he’ll be hoping to replicate this year.

Should he replicate it, then one would like to think that he’d be able to hold the Drivers’ Championship lead for longer than he did last season, given that he now understands what is needed to remain in the title fight.

Interestingly, former Ferrari team manager Peter Windsor believes Leclerc has a better chance of winning the title than either Lewis Hamilton or George Russell; however, Windsor still labels Leclerc as an “outside bet”.

“If you wanted an outside bet, I guess ‘Charles Leclerc to be World Champion’ isn’t a bad bet to have,” Windsor told his Twitch stream.

“I’d put more money on that than I would on Lewis – or George for that matter. But I think, right now, it would be weird not to think about Max winning again.”

Leclerc will certainly have an exceptional chance of winning the 2023 crown, given that Ferrari have reportedly had a very strong winter.

It’s been reported that the Maranello-based team have fixed their horrific power unit reliability issues that tormented their 2022 campaign, with the side having also discovered an additional 30hp as a result.

With a more powerful and reliable engine, Ferrari are expected to start the upcoming season very strongly, with the question being if they can maintain it throughout the season.
