The 2022 Singapore Grand Prix has been delayed due to heavy rain, the FIA has announced.
The race was initially scheduled to get underway at 1pm BST, but the stewards have since said the formation lap will get underway at 2:05pm BST.
Earlier today, F1 journalist Chris Medland said that the Singapore GP is likely to be delayed by over an hour. He added that the pitlane was flooded.
Charles Leclerc will start the race on pole position, while Max Verstappen will line up in P8 on the grid after Red Bull under-fuelled his car in Q3.

The Dutchman has a remote chance of wrapping up his second world title in Singapore, but he is more likely to defend his title in the next race at Suzuka.
Sir Lewis Hamilton will line up in P3, just behind the Red Bull of Sergio Perez.
Earlier, Free Practice Three (FP3) was delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
The session did eventually get underway, but it was shortened, as the clock continued to count down despite the delay.

However, the race won’t be shortened by the delay, unless it exceeds the allotted three-hour window.
In a worse case scenario, if the weather doesn’t ease up today, the race could be held on Monday instead.
