Scott Mescudi, known to most as Kid Cudi, attended his first F1 race at the Belgian GP, where he disclosed his “addiction” to F1 racing.
Kid Cudi is a big fan of Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton and was immensely impressed with the British racer’s fourth-placed finish.
Cudi took to Twitter to show his support for Hamilton.
He wrote, “Pulled up to support my boy @LewisHamilton since I was in town, first race Ive ever been too, thanx to Mercedes for holding it down.”

The rapper then took to Instagram to share a photo of him hugging the seven-time world champion after the conclusion of the race.
His Instagram caption read: “Such a blessing seeing my guy do his thing today. Lewis, U are a very special human, it was truly an honor.
“Congrats on an epic race my friend. Looks like im hooked, ima have to start watchin more races. Gotta support u brother, the love is mutual. Thank u for takin care of us man!!”
The rapper, famous for songs such as ‘Mr Rager,’ was given special access by Mercedes to get a view of Hamilton’s parked AMG vehicle.
Cudi labelled Hamilton’s car as “Lewis’ space craft” in photos he posted to Twitter.
This is not the first time Mercedes has linked up with American stars for promotional reasons.
Lewis Hamilton has been an integral part in the making of Brad Pitt’s upcoming F1 movie ‘Apex.’
Hamilton is working as both a producer and adviser on this project.
Meanwhile, Cudi’s enthusiasm for F1 was evident from his presence on the Spa-Francorchamps track following the main event race.

Cudi didn’t travel to Belgium specifically for last weekend’s Grand Prix though.
Instead, he was in Europe for the Tomorrowland festival, during which he teased a new song with Steve Aoki.
This track is expected to be featured on his next big project, which is called ‘Insano’.
Footage from this event showed ‘Cudders’ and Steve Aoki hyping the new album and debuting a collaboration called ‘Electrowave Baby 2.0.’
