Former Formula 1 team boss Eddie Jordan has disclosed that Adrian Newey, the acclaimed technical wizard behind Red Bull’s success, is firmly convinced that the evolution of the RB19 into the 2024 season will create an insurmountable lead, making it extremely challenging for rivals to catch up.
Red Bull has been the undisputed dominator of the current Formula 1 campaign, securing a staggering 16 out of 17 wins.
Their remarkable run of victories was only disrupted in Singapore, with Max Verstappen triumphing 14 times on his path to a third World Championship title.
The team further solidified their dominance by clinching the Constructors’ title in Japan, leaving their closest competitors, including Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and McLaren, struggling to mount consistent challenges over the course of the season.

As reigning champions, Red Bull is set to receive a lower allocation for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing compared to other teams.
However, Eddie Jordan has offered insight into the mindset at Red Bull as they develop the RB20 at their headquarters in Milton Keynes.

He shared his recent conversation with Adrian Newey, highlighting the technical maestro’s optimism.
“I was at a function the other night with Adrian Newey, we are cyclists who cycle a lot together in Cape Town,” explained Jordan in an interview with Talksport.
“Adrian feels that the evolution of what they’ve got at the moment is going to be so difficult for anyone to catch up with.”
