Leading British performance eyewear brand, SunGod, has launched its first Limited Edition Tokas to celebrate 60 years of McLaren Racing’s innovation on the track off the back of a Silverstone to remember.
Designed in collaboration with the team at McLaren F1 Team, the Limited 60th Edition Tokas emulate the iconic McLaren Chrome livery that saw McLaren back dominating; the front of Silverstone, chrome lenses, a sleek aesthetic of matte black, lightweight square frames with refined papaya detailing on the arms, celebrating McLaren Racing’s 60th anniversary of racing. The Tokas are the latest lifestyle design from the SunGod range, launched in June 2023.
The design blends best-in-class 8KO lenses, and an Infinite frame made from fully recycled materials, which has a 7x lower carbon footprint than virgin frames.
The launch comes following an outstanding weekend of racing at the Silverstone Grand Prix, where homegrown McLaren driver Lando Norris secured second place on the podium, ahead of seven times World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
Wearers can catch all the action as the 2023 season heats up along with the weather, and with lenses offering greater optical clarity than the human eye, there’s no better companion for trackside action this summer.
