Outgoing Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel has dropped a big hint that this won’t be his last season in Formula 1.
When asked by a Sky Deutschland journalist if the 2020 Belgium Grand Prix would be his last visit to Spa-Francorchamps, Vettel smiled and replied:
“I think I can come here at any time. We’ll see if I will be driving a fast car. But I don’t think it will be my last time here.”

“I still have many years ahead of me,” he added.
The two Ferraris have struggled in all Free Practice sessions at Spa and it looks like it could be a struggle for them to even make it out of Q1.
The Maranello-based team was always expected to struggle at Spa, as they are down on straight-line speed due to them having the weakest power unit on the grid and the SF1000 generating a lot of drag.
Despite the team’s poor showing, Vettel said he is “always optimistic” and will try his best to get a good result this weekend.
“There are always two approaches – get frustrated, or stand up and get on with it. That’s what I’m here for – I’m always optimistic,” he said.
